Frequently Asked Questions

Each workshop day includes a mix of energetic, creative, and interactive sessions designed to keep children engaged and inspired.

  • Our workshops are led by a range of professionals who love creating positive experiences for children. Our staff range from experienced entertainers, educators, and registered teachers.

All staff members hold valid Working With Children Checks, and team members are trained in safety procedures and child supervision. A qualified First Aid staff member is always onsite during the workshop.

  • Due to limited places available in each workshop, cancellations made within 7 days of the program are non-refundable.

If your child is unable to attend because of illness, a credit towards a future workshop can be arranged when a medical certificate is provided.

  • Children gain the most from the program when attending both days, as activities and performances are developed progressively throughout the workshop.

Attending both days also helps children build friendships, confidence, and teamwork skills within their group.

  • Children are placed into age-appropriate groups to ensure activities are engaging, supportive, and suited to their confidence and ability levels.

Most groups have around 10–15 children per teacher. If numbers increase, additional staff members are allocated to maintain quality supervision and support throughout the workshop

  • We understand that attending with a friend can help children feel more comfortable and confident. Friend requests are welcome and will always be considered where possible, provided children are within a similar age range.

Please include any requests during the enrolment process ensuring to name the child, rather than the school they attend.

  • Many children attend our workshops without knowing anyone beforehand, and they quickly settle in through our games, team activities, and group challenges.

We focus strongly on inclusion, friendship-building, and helping children feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.

  • Please pack the following items each day:

    • Nut-free lunch, plus morning and afternoon snacks.

    • Water bottle

    • Hat and sunscreen

    • Comfortable clothing suitable for movement and creative activities

    • Enclosed running shoes or similar

For safety reasons, sandals, thongs, and dress shoes are not recommended.

  • To help keep the workshop safe and enjoyable for everyone, we ask that children do not bring:

    • Foods containing nuts or nut traces

    • Expensive toys or electronic devices

    • Gaming consoles or tablets

    • Mobile phones unless absolutely necessary

While every care is taken, we cannot take responsibility for lost or damaged personal belongings.

  • We aim to provide an inclusive environment where every child feels respected, supported, and encouraged. Disruptive, unsafe, or aggressive behaviour may result in parents or guardians being contacted to collect their child from the workshop.

  • Creating a safe and welcoming environment is extremely important to us. At the beginning of each workshop, children are guided through safety procedures and emergency processes in an age-appropriate way.

  • At the conclusion of Day 2, families are invited to enjoy a special performance beginning at 4:15pm.

This is a wonderful opportunity for children to showcase what they have learned, celebrate their achievements, and perform with pride in front of family and friends. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

  • There is no need to purchase anything new. It is important that clothing choice allows for dance movement, and shoes are confortable and safe.

Some children may choose to use simple props or special outfits during their showcase, which they may bring from home.
